A morning of fun
Totaleigh Jewelry Camp for kids was born from requests for classes, camps or demonstrations by neighbors and friends over the years. This will the fourth year for our summer camp.
I have always made jewelry beginning as a small girl repairing jewelry and reworking what I had broken to make the pieces I wanted. I started Totaleigh Jewelry in college as a way to have extra spending money.
I have a degree in studio art and work on my jewelry at a studio in Pittsboro during the week. I currently have a small jewelry business where I present my work through art shows and gift stores. Currently my work can be found on Totaleigh.com and at The Captain’s Cargo on Ocracoke Island.
Assisting me at the camp will be my daughter, Kennan, age 17 years. Kennan enjoyed volunteering at camps for The Art Center in Carrboro last summer where she was a camper favorite!
