Sony HDR-SR12E is a HDD Handycam Camcorder which weighs 650g with Battery and measures 83x76x138mm. This camera comes with a 120GB Non-Removable Hard Disk Drive. Users may also use Memory Stick Duo™ Media, Memory Stick PRO Duo™ Media to record/store mode videos. This camera features SteadyShot image stabilization feature which helps to capture precise and detailed video. The video camera has a 3.2" Wide(16:9) XtraFine™ LCD screen that displays sharp, bright, photo-quality images. With nearly 1 megapixel resolution and a broad viewing angle, this XtraFine LCD™ screen is like having a high-resolution video and photo viewer built into the camcorder. The Sony HDR-SR12E’s Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar T lenses are developed specifically for compact camcorders.
Sony HDR-SR12E can record videos with a clarity of up to1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution. Sony’s Face Detection technology recognizes up to 8 faces anywhere in the frame and automatically controls color, exposure and focus to help capture smiling faces brightly and clearly. This camera is also provided with a BIONZ™ Image Processor and 5 Megapixel ClearVid™ CMOS Sensor that is able to deliver detailed 5 megapixel video, as well as 10.2 megapixel still images. The Exmor™ technology captures foootage with a very high resolution and sensitivity.
